An experienced and highly qualified Senior Marketing Executive is needed at a young and successful company in the field of digital media. The VP of Marketing is responsible for all marketing activities and programs needed to meet company growth targets. The ideal candidate will have a passionate and energizing spirit and the desire to achieve remarkable results in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. The position is senior and a significant role in the management team, as part of determining the overall strategy and direction of the product and company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all marketing functions, including PR, advertising, marcom, market research, collateral/documentation and product marketing
  • Oversee the corporate website; develop attractive and compelling web content
  • Work closely with sales to create targeted campaigns and generate quality leads
  • Create industry-focused and vertical-specific messaging
  • Oversee all marketing operations including communications, trade shows and events, brand awareness, website and collateral development
  • Direct and lead all Public Relation activities for internal and external audiences: establishing and supporting brand leadership; media outreach; story pitches/case studies; press releases; presentations, white papers and responses to proposals
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards of communications internally as well as whenever the Company’s product is used by a third party; i.e. style guides, customization guides, trademarked applications, press release, customer communications, etc

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working at a digital media / online advertising company - a must
  • High-tech experience – a must, preferably with software/web-based platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • 5-10 years in a director/VP marketing position
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality programs across the marketing mix – email, events, webinars, online, direct mail, etc.
  • Expert skills in producing marketing campaigns that deliver qualitative and quantitative results
  • Self-motivated, comfortable and effective in working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills are a must
  • Very strong skills in writing/editing
  • Experience in using social media for networking
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time
