For a successful and growing company in the field of cellular technology, located in Bergen County, NJ. The Senior Project Manager /System Engineer (PM/SE) will be responsible for pre-sales support in addition to post sale project implementation. The role is primarily customer-facing, as the successful candidate will have responsibility for all projects within the federal sector (military and law enforcement) and will report to the Vice-president of Engineering. The PM/SE will work closely with local and remote engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The position is at a senior level within the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership and responsibility of the project from pre-sale to delivery
  • Manage and supervise project design and implementation at federal customers
  • Ensure that the solution meets client business needs by identifying requirements and matching them with the company product and resources
  • Create and manage the project plan, including schedule and deliverables
  • Support the sales executive during customers’ visits and other interactions, such as sales proposals, RFQs and RFPs
  • Research competition and industry trends for product roadmap and strategy
  • Design and provide tailored customer training
  • Document the solution for ongoing support
  • Serve as an ultimate escalation point for troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Become a single point of contact to the customer for any of the project-related issues
  • Act as a facilitator within the company and promote effective communication between the departments as far as the projects are concerned
  • Manage technical partnerships with third-party application / service providers within the mobile industry

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, System Engineer, or Product Manager at a company within the cellular industry
  • Proven track record of handing multiple projects and managing client relationships
  • Strong technical /engineering background, understanding of cellular software technologies
  • Experience and knowledge in the field of forensics – computer forensics professionals will have an advantage, familiarity with cellular forensics is an even greater advantage
  • Exposure to Internet technologies including J2EE, C++, LBS and JavaScript
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Sciences or related technical field
  • PMP or other Project Management qualifications – an advantage
  • Self-motivated, comfortable and effective in working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills are a must
  • Outstanding presentation skills and service-oriented attitude
  • Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
  • Must be able to travel 25% of the time

Salary: Excellent compensation commensurate with experience

With HQ in Israel and a marketing and sales office in Bergen County, NJ, the company has already established an impressive customer base in the United States and is looking to grow further within its large and profitable market

Job Responsibilities:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for sales, business development and customer management activities, including taking over the existing partners, distributors and clientele in the US and capitalize on existing relationships in order to provide the best product offering to current customers, as well as exploring new opportunities with new partners. S/he will manage the sales process from inception to delivery, and pursue active relationships with relevant parties. The role reports directly to the Chairman and CEO of the company, located in Israel.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in a similar position in a high-tech company, preferably in the field of video conferencing or Video/IP
  • Experience working with large corporations and channel partners- A must!
  • Experience working at the US subsidiary of an Israeli company – a great advantage
  • Proven track record of sales achievements
  • Strong negotiations skills and customer relations
  • Well-connected to decision makers in the video conferencing industry
  • General technology proficient and knowledgeable
  • Spoken Hebrew – a plus
  • Strong leadership qualities with superb interpersonal and operational skills
  • Energetic individual with a strong drive for success

Salary: Solid base + uncapped commission
